[3DS] Kirby Battle Royale ROM

Kirby Battle Royale is a worthy addition to the legendary Kirby series that has graced many of Nintendo’s gaming consoles. Kirby is back and ready to rumble in an epic royal battle on the 3DS, which you can now relive on any Nintendo 3DS emulator for PC and Mobile.

If you’re a Kirby fan, you know that most Kirby games are side-scrolling adventures. But this title takes a completely different approach. Imagine it as a blend of Mario Party, Super Smash Bros., and Kirby. It’s a party arena fighter combined with mini-games, all infused with Kirby and many other elements. The great thing is, it actually works and is a lot of fun. The game features a story mode, along with a plethora of multiplayer options, including online play and Download Play, meaning only one game card is needed within your group of friends to play together – very convenient. All you need is a 2DS or 3DS, and you’re good to go.

Simple Story, Packed Content

The story of Kirby Battle Royale is simple, as simple as it gets. Basically, Kirby is invited to King Dedede’s Cake Royale tournament. And as usual, Kirby’s hunger propels him headfirst into the competition.

As you play, you’ll progress through rounds in the Bronze Cup, Silver Cup, and so on. These rounds consist of challenges based on ten different game modes, which are essentially mini-games. There’s Battle Arena, Coin Clash, Attack Riders, Crazy Theater, Rocket Rumble, Robo Bonkers, Slam Hockey, Ore Express, Flagball, and Apple Scramble. Apple Scramble is exactly what it sounds like: you have to team up with a partner to knock apples out of trees and throw them into your base. It’s genuinely fun and dramatic.

Fast-Paced and Engaging Gameplay

Speaking of dramatic, one of the best things about Battle Royale was its online mode, where you could play with strangers from all over the world. After completing the story mode and unlocking everything, you’d want to spend time honing your skills. Playing online against others was the best way to do that. Thankfully, Battle Royale did a great job with fun, dramatic matches, and connecting with players from everywhere was truly fantastic. However, this online functionality is unfortunately no longer accessible.
