[3DS] Kid Icarus: Uprising (Undub) ROM

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a great game on Nintendo 3DS but it is not perfect. Besides the control mechanism that can be commented as not optimal, there are also many complaints from the gaming community about the bad voice acting of the English version. It is clear that the original version with Japanese voice acting conveys the emotion and spirit of the game better. However, in the Western market, the version of the game only has English voice acting. That is why the mod of the game was born – we have Kid Icarus: Uprising (Undub).

Like any other ROM Hack, this game is made by the fan community based on the original content of the game but applying some special edits.

Undub is short for “Undubbed” which means not re-voiced. To put it simply, Kid Icarus: Uprising (Undub) changes the voice acting of the game to Japanese (like the original version in the Japanese market) but keeps all other content such as the game interface including subtitles, menus, tutorials and music etc.

This ROM has been patched on the EU version of the original Kid Icarus: Uprising game. It is also packaged in the standard CIA format so you just need to copy it to your 3DS game folder on the emulator and you can play it without any setup or customization. Have fun!
