Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters — This is not just an expansion; it’s the final “top-of-the-line” of the Yo-kai Watch 2 series. You are a little kid (boy or girl) in the Yo-kai Watch, you see and make friends with strange Yo-kai — ghost-like things that aren’t entirely understood. Your ghost-catching adventures will follow you around the town of Springdale, travel into the ancient city of Harrisville, to interject directly into the past and throw (yes, literally) into the future.

Mysterious Yet Not Terrifying Spiritual Forces

Psychic Specters not only incorporates all the content from the previous two versions (Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls) but also unlocks exclusive side quests, revealing previously untold aspects of the Yo-kai world. You finally get your hands on the Hex Palace, a creepy, fairy-tale styled haunted mansion full of mysteries, packed with Yo-kai whose motives are beyond comprehension. And if the main tale of the series boils down to, “Why is the world being flipped over by Yo-kai?” then this expansion is the answer.

In addition to that, Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters has Origin Stories — a series of quests that tell you the story of already-familiar Yo-kai, so players can discover their backstories that cover ups and downs, humor, and emotion.

Unlike traditional role-playing games, Yo-kai Watch 2 offers a coordinated auto-battle style. You will not directly control all the attacks, but instead will develop the team pattern and timing for when to activate Soultimate Attacks. All of the Yo-kai have a person layout, and the two need to have any success. So you know, it’s a strategy game – unless you are the best strategist in the world, it’s not easy to win.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters storyline: from unlocking an ancient curse to facing an enigmatic organization with grandiose plans to use Yo-kai in the name of manipulating history, every step brings new worlds to you. In addition, the game has some shell aspects from the series, too.

• Yo-kai Blasters Mode — an action co-op real-time mode where a certain three Mini Yo-kai unite as a group to take on a stage giant boss or to search and catch items.
• Exclusive Events and Special Yo-kai: You can befriend legendary villainous Yo-kai like Dame Dedtime and Darknyan. Moreover, expanded side quests like the “Wicked Tribes” are unique and interesting features not found in the other two versions.
