What’s in this ROM Hack?
Super Mario Bros. Next: Sunset Shores is part of a larger project called Super Mario Bros. Next by Next Team. It’s a great introduction to the mod’s best features. You can try it out before you decide to download the full version of the Hack. Overall, it’s definitely worth your time because, you know, what Mario game isn’t good?
Despite its short content, Sunset Shores showcases the best of the mod. We get 8 brand new levels set on a customized world map. In addition to the default mechanics of the original rom, the development team has added some new mechanics to make the gameplay more diverse and challenging. And it is impossible not to mention other valuable additions such as a series of new enemies and a completely remade soundtrack system.
Super Mario Bros. Next: Sunset Shores is provided here for free in the standard cia format. It is also patched with the original ROM file, so you just need to download this single file and copy it to the game folder on your emulator and play. If you want to play it on a 3DS with custom firmware, use a suitable CIA installer. Have fun.
