[3DS] Dragon Quest VII (Orchestrated) ROM

Dragon Quest VII (Orchestrated) is not part of the famous Dragon Quest series because it is not an official release from Square Enix. This is a ROM Hack made by the fan community of this series, based on the official game Dragon Quest VII Remake which was released on Nintendo 3DS in 2004.

Why this mod?

Like every other ROM Hack, there must be a reason for it to be born and Dragon Quest VII (Orchestrated)
is no exception. The answer here is the replacement of the background music in the game due to copyright reasons.

You may not believe it but the remake version of Dragon Quest VII on 3DS in Japan was released with high quality Orchestrated background music. However, the music in the versions in other markets was changed by Square Enix to lower quality MIDI tracks. This obviously reduces the game experience significantly.

Orchestra Restoration Patch is the key to bringing back these amazing soundtracks.

This patch is basically for the EU version of the game, it allows you to restore and replace the synthesized MIDI soundtrack with the high-quality orchestral soundtrack from the original Japanese release.
