[3DS] Bravely Default ROM
Game Files Information
Bravely Default Description
The Nintendo 3DS is where Bravely Default first appeared and was warmly received. This game quickly became one of the best turn-based strategy game series, according to millions of gamers worldwide. Although remakes are now available on the Nintendo Switch, I’d bet that the original experience on the 3DS is still the best. And you can have that exact experience thanks to the game’s original ROM file that we provide in this article.
The game takes us on a top-tier fantasy RPG adventure. It introduces a wide range of flexible strategies, the ability to combine jobs and skills, and the new “Brave and Default” system that allows you to strategically adjust your turns. It’s safe to say that Bravely Default pioneered an entirely new type of turn-based combat. You can summon your friends’ characters into battle and use StreetPass to borrow their abilities. The game also allows you and your friends to collaborate on rebuilding your village.
About Bravely Default on Nintendo 3DS
If you ever loved classic Japanese RPGs like Final Fantasy from the PS1 era, Bravely Default is the spiritual food for you – but this time with a glossy 3D coat, top-notch strategy and a plot that never lets you escape! The game is not only a revival of the classic turn-based RPG genre but also a creative “upgrade of images, change of gameplay” from Square Enix.
Bravely Default on Nintendo 3DS is published by Square Enix. It is a top-notch fantasy RPG thanks to the ability to customize deep strategy by combining professions and abilities. You will have to calculate the timing of your actions tactically with the new Brave and Default system. You can also connect and summon your friends’ characters into battle or borrow their abilities. You can also rebuild your village with the StreetPass feature.
The plot is full of twists, seemingly Cliché but still surprising.
The story begins with a disaster in the main character Tiz Arrior’s village of Norende, completely collapsed due to a mysterious force. Not long after, Tiz meets Agnes Oblige, one of the four “Vestals” (priestesses protecting the elemental crystals) and sets out with her to purify the “polluted” Crystals, in order to restore the balance of the world.
Does this motif seem familiar? But things are not as simple as you think. From the middle of the game onwards, Bravely Default will continuously launch “sharp turns” with unexpected twists, from the true identities of the characters, to the nature of the world of Luxendarc. And then when you think the game is about to end, it opens up a new dimension, then another, a journey that seems so long that you have to wonder if you are wandering around in the multiverse?
Gameplay: Turn-based classic but rich in depth.
If you like the idea of Final Fantasy, enjoy turn-based combat and love classic JRPGs, Bravely Default is definitely a game you should own and hold on to.
The game does not have a completely free gameplay but is more story-oriented. There are many ways for you to level up in the game. Character customization is required to deal specific damage to specific enemies you encounter.
There are two mechanics you must pay attention to: Default and Brave:
- Default: Defend and accumulate BP (Brave Points)
- Brave: Unleash up to 4 actions in one turn – attack, buff, heal,…
Calculating the timing of launching Brave or retreating to Default will determine the survival of the whole team. You can finish off the entire enemy team in just one turn if you combo well, or put your team in a “freeze and wait to die” state if you use it at the wrong time.
In addition, the game also has a rich job system for characters: With more than 24 basic and advanced jobs, from Knight, Monk, White Mage to unique jobs such as Spell Fencer, Pirate, Arcanist, Vampire, … each character can learn skills from the main and secondary jobs, opening up countless crazy combinations such as “Healing Thief”, “Magic Swordsman” or “Summoning Alchemist”.
Diverse features of a classic JRPG
In towns, you can interact with NPCs to receive quests or want to get more new information. You can also perform many other activities such as buying items or magic at specialized shops, buying or selling weapons and equipment at a blacksmith shop or resting at an inn to recover HP or MP. In all environments, the group can find chests containing weapons, items or equipment. At certain times, a group chat option will appear, allowing players to start a conversation between members. During exploration, enemies may appear through random encounters, so always be ready for your team to be surprised.
Cinematic Visuals
Luxendarc appears like a vivid fairy tale painting. The beautifully hand-drawn, 3D-coordinated cities feel like they are living in that scene. Whether it is a snow-covered city, a magical forest, or a floating fortress in the sky, all are detailed and shimmering down to every brick.
Attractive side features:
- Rebuild Norende Village: Send StreetPasses to expand the town, receive rare items and powerful weapons.
- Invoking Friends: Send and receive skills from friends in battle.
- Nemesis Battle: Face off against sub-bosses sent by other players – a great way to “PvE” on the 3DS platform.
A great JRPG, both nostalgic and fresh
Bravely Default is both a great JRPG and a testament to the classic turn-based genre, where customization can still create drama that keeps players glued to the screen. Now, what are you waiting for? Download the ROM to experience the feeling of being immersed in an exciting adventure right away!
