[3DS] Mario Golf: World Tour ROM

No need to panic if you are not a golf expert. Mario Golf: World Tour will not require you to master every aspect of swinging a club from A to Z. The user experience is intuitive; select a club, measure the power, time your shot, and voila! Scoring birdies and eagles, however, requires some finesse. You have to strategize, manage the wind, analyze the terrain, and make the right shot at the right time (even if you are controlling Toad in a costume that looks like an explosion at a color factory).

 The golf courses in the game could never be described as boring. 

Instead of traditional greens, there are fairways which have lava erupting, twisting pipes, or sparkling giant flowerbeds that burst like confetti. Each course is a miniature tale that requires you to adapt and perform a shot-by-shot, on-the-spot storyline.

In Mario Golf: World Tour, you can insert yourself into the game using your Mii character and thus enter the Castle Club, where aspiring golfers practice, compete, and shop for stylish gear. Golf clubs? Check. Gloves? Check. Sports shoes? Of course. In addition to shot power, spin, and ball control, you can also boost your character’s stats by mixing and matching outfits. As we say, there’s more to golf than just your “fashion game.” 

The Career Mode has an RPG touch to it. 

You take part in tournaments, and you can feel yourself improving after every game. The story starts with a novice at the village course, but by the end of it, you will have earned a ton of medals, and there will be lots of surprises. You will even emerge as a regional champion.

Sound & Visuals: The 3D sound and visuals alongside Mario’s animation are impressive. 

Graphics take into account the cheer of Toads in the background and the martial music when the score is subtracted. From Mario’s portion of the game, he will always alert you with a hover of the golf ball.
